RACING GROUP

WHAT DO WE DO
Go to race meetings. We are trying to visit as many courses as possible.
Visit the yards where the race-horses are trained.
Enjoy social meetings to exchange ideas, discuss breeding and also give each other tips.

WHAT KNOWLEDGE DO WE NEED
Not much really- liking horses does help. We also help newcomers to understand the race cards as they seem like a foreign language at first.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Nothing in particular but useful things are binoculars, pens for marking your race card, and warm clothes (racecourses and trainers’ yards are usually cold!).

FUTURE PLANS
We are going to Cheltenham racecourse for a 2-day visit in November.
We would like to go to Newmarket (the home of racing) and visit the National Stud, the Racing Museum and of course the Racecourse.

This group is open to anyone.
