Reading - Evenings

What do we do?

We read a book a month, selected by the members, and then discuss it from a number of viewpoints.

Our reading list is wide-ranging, taken from fiction and non-fiction, modern and classics, and includes new, as well as established writers.

Level of knowledge required

All that is required is a love of reading.

What materials are needed?

Members obtain their own books, either bought or borrowed from a library. Low-priced books can usually be ordered from Amazon

How many members?

At present we have 8 members. We are not currently looking to enlarge but neither would we turn members away. Largely dictated by the space available for meetings.

Where and when do meetings take place?

We meet , usually on a Monday or Tuesday monthly, at 7.30pm, in members' homes.
