Scrabble
What do we do?
We play Scrabble and Upwords.
Some of us like to look words up as this widens our knowledge, but if someone objected to this they are welcome to play the challenging game.
We are not a competitive group, but just enjoy a good game in good company.
Level of knowledge required
A fair knowledge of words and spelling.
What materials are needed.
We have several members with boards but occasionally we do need an extra one.
How many members
At present we number 10, but vacancies occur.
Where/ when meetings take place
We usually meet at about 10.00am on a Friday at a member’s house, and start with a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit. If a new member does not have a suitable room, or needs transport, this is not a problem.
